You are responsible for any fees for using your insurance (co-pays and deductibles).

I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance carriers.  You may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your payment through these plans, and I can provide necessary documentation.

Standard individual and family therapy sessions are 50 minutes.  Together, we will determine an individualized timeline for sessions, including frequency and duration.

I am able to offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments.  Please contact me to discuss this option.

What to Expect in Therapy

Therapy is a rewarding experience and the relationship with a therapist is unique. Just like any relationship in life, you may not connect with a therapist in a way that feels right for you. When seeking therapy, it may be helpful to talk with several different clinicians until you find someone you would like to work with.

In therapy, you are encouraged to be vulnerable, which can be uncomfortable and unfamiliar for most. Therapy is most effective when you meet with a therapist consistently and over a period of time. In some instances, things may seem to “get worse before they get better,” and this is certainly a challenge that can make you feel like stopping therapy altogether. Knowing that change, healing, and growth are processes that happen over time, and are not always linear, can help you trust that your experience will be worth the work you put into it.
